Center for Teaching, Learning, and Technology
The Center for Teaching, Learning, and Technology supports WWU faculty in delivering exceptional learning experiences in all learning environments. The center facilitates professional training resources and advises on best practices in teaching, technology, accessibility, and course assessment.
Center staff research and promote new instructional technologies and provide support for using instructional tools such as D2L Brightspace—the WWU learning management system—and in-classroom technology.
Mission
To aid faculty in their mission to serve students by offering continued training and increased support for best practices in teaching, accessibility, technology, course assessment and compliance.
Vision
To equip faculty to create and share exceptional, innovative, and transformative learning experiences for students—both in person and online. And to expand these opportunities to a larger audience through online course and program sharing.
The TLT works closely with the Faculty Development Committee and the Distance Learning Committee.
